It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David Albert Curry, 73, of Lequille, NS on November 21, 2025. 

David was a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother and friend whose love for music and family enriched the lives of all who knew him.

David found joy in the simple pleasures of life and with his love for music, he was a passionate guitarist and singer, he often filled homes and gatherings with his warmth and musical talent.

David is survived by his former wife, Marlene, and their four beloved children: Teresa (Andrew) Turnbow, Cynthia (Clinton) Williams, Dave (Jaime) Curry, and Matthew (Kristie) Curry. He was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren: Danielle, Alyssa, Brandyn, Malik, Isaiah, Mia, Justice, Tylor, Jamal, Kerwyn, Oryan, and 1 great-granddaughter, Raya.  He was also an uncle to several nieces and nephews.

He will also be deeply missed by his sisters: Thelma (“Sis”) Trahan, Elizabeth (Kevin) Marshall, Patricia Williams, Deborah Burrell, Susan Curry, Shirley Power, Phyllis Curry, Hilda Curry, and Linda (James) Stevenson.  

David was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brittany, his three brothers, Lloyd Bailey, Harvey (“Bub”) Bailey, and George Curry and his parents, Harvey (“Gene”) and Joyce Curry.

David's memory will live on through the countless stories he told and memories he created with family and friends. His laughter, kindness and sense of humour, will echo in the hearts of those who loved him.  He will be missed immensely!

A visitation will be held 2-4pm Thursday November 27 with a funeral service 2pm Saturday November 29, both in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Burial in St. Albans Cemetery, Lequille. Reception to follow. Online condolences may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
