David ‘Bubby’ Dean Amero

March 19, 1956 – September 10, 2025

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our father David ‘Bubby’ Amero on September 10,2025 at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Harvey Sr. and Rachel (Sibbins) Amero.

David was a loving, caring father who always supported his kids. He was a kind soul who loved to sit and chat with people and share stories about the old days. He loved spending his time working in the wood pile and fixing up any vehicle that needed it, fishing with his brothers, listening to old country music and playing with his grandson and great nieces and nephews. He could also be found travelling around to the local exhibitions to enjoy the horse and oxen pulls, and to catch up with old friends. Bubby loved his old ford trucks you could always tell it was him with all the colorful lights he had geared up on them.

David is survived by his daughter, Olivia Cromwell; son, Jordan Cromwell; and their mother and best friend, Melissa; grandson, Carter; granddaughters, Olivia and Briella; several nieces and nephews, and two special nieces who David thought of as daughters, Megan and Chelsey. He is also survived by brothers, Donald, Harvey Jr., Wilfred; sisters, Jane and Beatrice; and his pride and joy, his dog, Rosie.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Geraldine and Esther.
