I remember "aunt" Phyllis ( not really my aunt, but was a term of respect) very well...Mom and Dad went often down to the campground and played cards and took me with them as I was too young to stay at home by myself. Phyllis also took care of me the day I was released from hospital after having my tonsils out. She was a lovely , truly kind lady. I am sure she will be missed. Sincere condolences to the family.

I have fond childhood memories of having the Sproul family as back door neighbours at The Cape. Pat and l did fun things together, including a circus performance fundraiser. I also remember sleepovers in the old homestead. Phyllis was a second Mom. Not much got past her.
Sending hugs and condolences on the passing of Phyllis and Keith to Pat and Lorraine

Sincere condolences to the family. Always enjoyed my visits at the Sproul home as a neighbour and good friend of Keith growing up in Lequille.

I have been so fortunate to have been blessed in knowing Phyllis. Truth be told, I never knew her Christian name until a few years back, when I asked her beloved great grandson, Jared.
I only knew her as ‘Nana Numnums’ as introduced almost 40 years ago!
Yes, granddaughter Bonnie would make sure we always had a visit when we were deep into our studies of becoming Registered Nurses. Nana always made sure we had treats to nourish our worn out souls during our vigorous study years.
As the years of our chosen profession marched on, my life continued to be enriched with the lasting friiendship of the Sproul family. My child grew up knowing Nana Numnums as well since we were included in special family occasions and sometimes just spur of the moment visits when we were down visiting Bonnie.
Even one moment of kindness can change a life. Phyllis, thank you for letting your light shine, now radiant beams from above.

I have fond memories of visits with Phyllis. She was one of my greatest cheer leaders and I trust that she kept me in prayer all the years I was her Pastor at Annapolis Royal Baptist Church. The world is a better place for her having been with us. I extend heartfelt condolences and prayers to all her family.

My condolences to the family. ❤️
Phyllis, who we always called “Mrs. Sproul”, was a very nice lady who I had the pleasure of knowing. During my childhood in Annapolis, she was our next door neighbour. Me and my sister would always walk over to her house to visit and play games with her. She was the one who taught me how to play crokinole and crib. I will always remember her for her open heart and her welcoming soul ❤️
