Smith, Donald Roland – 89, formerly of Annapolis Royal, passed away August 5, 2025 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre. Born in Upper Burlington, Hants County, he was the son of the late Danford ‘Harm’ and Abigale (Parker) Smith.

Donald drove truck most of his life.

He is survived by children, Wade Smith and Peggy Sanford, both of Upper Burlington; grandchildren, Jonathan, Melody, and Ashley; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; Step children, Sandra Gauthier, Annapolis Royal, Barbara Dillon, Bowmanville, Robert Gauthier, Graywood; six step grandchildren, ten step great grandchildren, and two step great great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his companion, Marguerite Gauthier; son, Michael; sisters, Helorise, Daisy, Regina, Gloria, Bell; brothers, Carl and Charles.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Following Donald’s wishes there will be no service. Online condolences may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
