Myrtle Wood, aged 95, passed away on July 03, 2025, in Annapolis Royal, born on February 24, 1930, and lived a life marked by warmth and kindness.  Myrtle was a beacon of love and caring, always ready to extend a helping hand or a comforting word. Her home was a welcoming haven where she expressed her love through her cooking and by ensuring that everyone, be they human or animal, was well-fed and cared for. Her hobbies included knitting, solving crossword puzzles, playing crib, and nurturing those around her. Myrtle's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the deep impact one person can have on their family and friends. Her legacy of love and warmth will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.  Predeceased by her loving husband Thomas B Wood and her son Dean B Wood. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn A Bourke (nee Wood); granddaughter, Tessa Bourke and great grandson, Hunter Wood. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Marley Wood, and grandson Dean T B Wood, and his wife Joy and great granddaughter, Charlee. Following Myrtle’s wishes cremation has taken place under care of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Burial at a later date.  Donations made in memory can be sent to Make a Wish Foundation.
