Bill was a great man. He was the best example of a person who was always ready to help other people. He was always smiling, having a positive attitude, full of energy. He helped Konrad a lot when he was alone waiting for almost three years to see his wife and two sons. Then he was hosting our family many times in a farm-house or in his house in Middleton. RIP, Bill!

Dear Jack, Marion, Adrian and Jim and families.
We were saddened to hear of your loss. Your Dad and our Uncle Bill was a wonderful man.
I have many great memories of you all in your younger years. It was a great event on our farm in Ontario when Uncle Bill and Aunt Lena and family were visiting from Nova Scotia!
In 1976 My husband Gary and I spend a few days on your farm during our east coast honeymoon. We did so just because your Dad invited us. That will always be a great memory.
In later years your Mom and Dad were always so supportive making many journeys back to Ontario to celebrate the good times as well as the sad.
Rest in Peace Uncle Bill. Sounds like you made your mark on this earth in many ways. Let me add you were a very favourite Uncle to my siblings Marion, Roseanne, me, John, Cathy, Jacky and Dan. A very dear Brother to my father Ted and supportive Brother in Law to my Mom Catherine.
Xoxo

Uncle Bill was a wonderful man. We would chat for hours about his youth and the war.
Once he told me how he had to win Aunt Lena over because she was seeing somebody else. But his love for her of 68 years never stopped. I will miss Uncle Bill along with the rest of the family very much.
Love Ricki and Mike
