Obituary of Heather Susan Parry

Heather Susan (nee Wambolt) Parry,

4 August 1951 – 3 June 2025

After a short battle with acute myeloid leukemia, bone marrow/blood cancer, at 2:45pm at Digby General Hospital Palliative care, our beloved Heather, wife and life partner, Mother, Nana to Brooklynn, sister and auntie, departed her earthly home with husband Richard “Dick” and sister Cathy at her side, to journey on to her celestial home to be reunited with those who have gone before, and welcomed “home” by her son Richard Erin ( died 18 November 2024) and her mom and dad, Roland and Geraldine Wambolt and a few of the gang from belle cantos and Digby Baptist Church choirs.

Heather Susan is survived by her husband & life partner Richard L “Dick” Parry, son Trevor Dean Parry, Digby, sister Cathy (Randy) Barr, Digby, brothers Brian Wambolt, Clemensport, Kevin Wambolt, Michael Wambolt, Mochelle, NS, beloved granddaughter Brooklynn Parry, Nelson Hill, Milford NS, and many nieces, nephews and a large extended family.

Heather Susan was the embodiment of the Nightingale Pledge, an inspiration to all and a mentor to many. A devoted member of the Digby Baptist Church, serving on many boards and committees. Heather was also a 15-year associate of the Digby Wal-Mart store.

Heather Susan is now resting in the Arms of Jesus, missed by many and loved by all whom she touched.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life at a date yet to be determined.
