Obituary of George Wilbert Patterson

We are sad to announce the passing of George Wilbert Patterson ( B. April 14,1949) at his home in Freeport. George was born in Freeport to Wilbert and Marion (Prime) Patterson. Surviving are his daughters Lori and Beverly, son Matthew and long time friend and partner Shirlu Scott, brothers Allison, Patrick,  Walter and sisters Heidi, Hannah, and Alice. George has 4 Grand children, 4 Great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Linden and sister Rowena.

George led a full life. He sailed on tugboats, gypsum boats, oil tankers and was a long time fisherman. He was a great storyteller, loved country music, and had many long time friends. He will be dearly missed.

There will not be any funeral by request. A gathering of family and friends will be arranged at a later date.
