I was so sorry to just learn now of Dean’s passing. My deepest condolences to Esther and the rest of the family. I so enjoyed working with Dean when we did theatre together (that wonderful voice!), and I miss running into him around town. He was a great guy and I cherish fond memories of him.

We are so deeply saddened by Dean’s passing. He was a really great friend back in our younger days. He was an usher at our wedding and spent many a night pacing the floor with our teething baby. Always a sweet, kindhearted, funny guy. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Esther, our hearts go out to you. Deepest condolences to all the rest of the family as well. Keep his love and memories in your hearts.

I would like to thank everyone for their kind words, phone calls, visits, hugs and support in so many ways.
Dean was one in a million with his deep voice, his passion and compassion toward people with challenges, people facing loss themselves and we can't forget the many checkins on his Mom, Aunt Row, and my Mom when he was here on PEI. The many neighbours at the apartment building he resided at depended on him for fixing their tvs, picking up necessities and many short visits to check on them. They have to be feeling his absence.
Dean had a very special connection with my son, Jason. We were watching a video at my Mom's yesterday where J was playing around with pillows and a soft book, hitting Dean on the head, and laughter filled the air. Dean could be a very sly instigator.
As you will see, he loved his white Foster Grant's, being at the beach here on the Island, being with his Mom and Aunt Row. One time he sent a humongous box of rice krispies to Mom hoping for a gift of chocolate peanut butter balls from her; however, I ended up having to get him some at his favorite bakery as Mom's hip started bothering her.
I first met Dean in 1976 in college; then we split but met up again in the late 80s and again around Christmas of 2017 (the third time which was a charm ). Our charm, unfortunately came to a halt on April 7th as y'all know.
I will miss him and love him FOREVER AND ALWAYS....WHO COULDNT LOVE HIM!

I am very sad to hear of Deno's passing. We met in Annapolis Royal just after he had moved back to the area. Deno was always cracking jokes and telling me of his experiences as a cop in North Carolina. I would often meet up with him in grocery stores or other places where he was helping family members get what they need. Our town will miss you Dean!

I met Dean when my great-aunt was unwell. He was a complete stranger who showed up to support our family during a difficult time. Dean's true nature was evident; he is kind, caring, and compassionate. I quickly grew fond of him and looked forward to his visits with our extended family. He will truly be missed by many.

I first met Dean in high school at ARRA. Always on the outskirts of the ‘gang’, very quiet. I didn’t meet the real Dean until he returned to Annapolis Royal in later years when we frequently crossed paths. Not so quiet, with a quick wit that always made me laugh. He was an awesome guy, so kind & caring. Such a loss to those around him. Going to miss seeing him around. Condolences to his family, friends & those he helped so often. Love, hugs & prayers to Corinda to help endure the void in her heart. Dino is now at peace, no pain♥️
