Ramsay, John Edward – of Digby, NS formerly of Clementsport. Born February 5th, 1938 to the late Clifford and Gertrude Ramsay, passed peacefully at home March 20th, 2025.

Survived by his son, John Edward Ramsay, B.C.; daughter, Christina Marie Snell, Digby; stepdaughter, Tina Ombusawin, Bridgetown and Kimberley Whelan (Bernie), B.C.; grandchildren, Candice Marie Willard, Alberta and Derek William Deraiche, Ontario; sister, Josephine Collins, Clementsport; brother, William (Billy) Ramsay, Newfoundland;

Sister in law; Valerie Hersey and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by wife, Mary (Vickery); brother, Donald Ramsay; sister, Betty Spurr.

Ed served in the military from 1955- 1978 and enjoyed talking about his experiences in the service . He also had a passion & love for collecting trains throughout the years and enjoyed his scenic drives. Ed always had a smile and enjoyed talking with people he met throughout the years.
