Obituary of Gary Dean Wright

Wright, Gary Dean – 77, of Clementsvale passed away Monday February 24, 2025, in Valley Regional Hospital. He was the son of the Lawrence and Myrtle (Cress) Wright.

Gary dedicated the last 30 years working for Pidherney’s in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta as a construction foreman. When Gary was getting ready to retire, his last job was Hinton Camp Supervisor of a 40 man camp. He met many people through work and loved to know everyone around him. He knew what they were capable of doing and appreciated their personal workmanship. Gary was a larger than life man, and would do anything for you. He love to figure things out and fix them. His greatest joy, other than his wife Dorothy, was four wheeling back to this camp on Big Lake, and driving his farm tractor called, Patty two-two.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy; brothers, Rodney (Nancy), Paul (Barb); son, Corey; three grandchildren, Shea Lynn, Sarah and Alexandrea; nine great grandchildren, Annabella, Mariah, Kayden, Ava, Easton, Alarian, Braxton, Colt, Jenessa.

As per Gary’s wishes there will be no service at this time.
