Q: How would you describe Alexander to someone who had never met them?
A: Alex was such a very unique individual.a friend and the constant artisan that' through the years could be seen painting the name on both the Bonney & Brent and the scotia voyager. along with so many more that rested in drydock at the AR haul up Through his very stillness of character lived a man who was a testament of strength an compassion to everyone who knew him.we all are better for it and to have known him

I was truly saddened by the new of Alex’s passing. I will treasure the time over this xmas that the three of us shared, playing cards and eating cake on Tuesday afternoons.

Dear Pink,Tom,Eric,Darlene and Families
I'm so sorry to hear of Alex's death. I have many wonderful memories of Victoria Beach and swimming in Thorns Cove with the boys when we came to visit. Also the good times on Church Street with Fred and Phyllis when the VB gang came there. Our families have been tied together for so long and Alex's death leaves a space, a link in the chain has been prematurely broken. I haven't seen Alex in recent years but his boyish good looks and his desire to laugh still shine through. I'm thinking of you all.

No words can express the sadness I feel for the family and friends of Alex. I have so many memories of Alex and I growing up. We went to school together from kindergarten through high-school. We worked at Casey's fish plant. We grew up together in the same small community spending much of our time playing within the same circle of friends. Swimming at Thorns Cove, biking, building forts, ice skating, playing cards and birthday parties. No one memory stands out more than another. They were all great. You will be missed greatly, my friend.

I knew Alex since we were old enough to know each other.Being the same age and living next door to one another,we grew up doing almost everything together. Exploring the woods and building camps, going up and down the hills on gocarts and bikes, climbing and hiking along the coastline, etc. Shared our love of music and all the other things as we came of age. I am grateful to have had him for my best friend.Rest in peace, you will be missed.
