
Obituary of Annette "Darlene" Potter
Potter, Annette “Darlene” – 71 of Bear River, passed away February 10, 2025, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Phyllis (Lantz) Chute. Darlene worked alongside her husband, Danny in the auto salvage business for many years. She then moved into the food industry with Pearson Peace Keeping in Cornwallis, NS. After leaving PPC she volunteered and then worked tirelessly with and for The Lifeplex in Cornwallis. She ended her working years as a legal secretary/assistant in Digby.
Upon her retirement she chose to keep busy by helping others in their homes. She was a constant volunteer within each community she resided in. She loved her Sunday family suppers with Brenda, Calista, Dylan and their dogs.
Darlene is survived by her daughter, Brenda; granddaughter, Calista (Dylan); sisters, Janice (Bob) and Deanna; brother, Tony (Leanne); sister-in-law, Charlene; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Danny and brother, Gerry.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 22, 2025, from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Pastor Mark Cress officiating. Family flowers only.
