Darlene is missed. She was fearless, generous, creative, artistic and savvy. She encouraged and supported friends, family and co-workers to reach for achievements, and was quick to congratulate and applaud all efforts and every success She was loyal, dedicated, and fun to be with. Family always came first. She was devoted to daughter Brenda and granddaughter Calista, and welcomed every opportunity to show off family photos and share special family memories. Her commitment to community was tireless. Godspeed, Darlene.

Dear Brenda & Family, so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear mother.
It was probably in the early eighties that I first met your mother at a yard sale she had, not too far from our home in Clementsvale. Then in the nineties I attended the classes she had for Tole Painting, in the Forester’s Hall. She was a very good teacher and had a knack for making crafts. Anytime I saw her she was always very friendly.
Sincere sympathy for your loss to all the Family Circle. Love & prayers.

This is an obituary that is hard to take as I have known Darlene since we were 4 yrs. old as our parents used to visit a lot when we lived in Morganville. At the time there was myself, Gary, Darlene and Gerry and I remember Janice just starting to walk.
Darlene and I always stopped to talk when we met in a store or Tim's when Danny was still here.
So sorry for your loss to Brenda ,Calista, Janice, Dede and Tony. .Darlene left you's way to soon.
Rest in peace with Danny

I was in utter shock to hear of Darlene’s passing - she was the best neighbour to my daughter and family and the best “auntie” to Livey, Ty and their pet Charlie. She could never do enough for any one of them . She was family. We are heart broken and express sincere condolences to Brenda Calista and all the family. Never will she be forgotten and always remembered for all the love she gave. A beautiful angel she is now.

My heartfelt condolences to Brenda, Calista, and the entire family. Your loss is truly heartbreaking.
I have known Darlene for 50 years, and in all that time, she has been an incredible woman—kind, compassionate, and deeply devoted to the people and causes she cared about. She touched so many lives with her generosity, her unwavering passion, and her willingness to help others. She had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and supported, and that is a rare and beautiful gift.
Darlene leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication that will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, but the impact she made will never be forgotten. Those who knew her were truly blessed.
