Pat and family: my sincere sympathy to you in the loss of Cliff. He was a very learned and interesting man and I enjoyed our contacts, mostly through AFNS and phone chats where he would assist me in bird identification. May he rest in peace.

I will always remember Cliff for his love of trees. He knew all their Latin names as well as English.
His puns of words always brought laughter.
He was always available to help any of his brothers he would share all his vegetables with everyone at church which brought everybody together like a family. He shared his love of the Bible and of Christ whenever there was an opportunity. He was a great man to be friends with

I had the privilege of teaching Biology at Fredericton High School alongside Cliff in the '70's, he was my department head. Cliff was a passionate environmentalist when those views weren't even popular or acknowledged. Cliff built up an incredibly well resourced department as the school was new and he had a vision for well equipped labs that were second to none. He inspired the best from all of us, and his students benefitted greatly from his wealth of knowledge and forward thinking teaching methods. He was a fabulous teacher and I learned a lot from him

Cliff was an amazing farmer. Still can't understand how he could raise 15 to 20 full sized green peppers off each plant when I'm lucky to get 1 or 2 undersized ones.
He was like the Energizer Bunny, never tiring and always focused on a full days' work, even while suffering near the end.
We'll miss his presence and strong commitment to charity at the Vinyard.

Sincere condolences to Pat and the family. As a neighbour, I always had great respect for Cliff’s passion for farming and the incredible dedication it took to create and maintain Jones’ Farm and Greenhouses. He will be missed.

To Cliff's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know Cliff well but, I lived not far from the family farm for many years and always appreciated his beautiful and bountiful gardens. The best veggies and more and so much knowledge to share which I always enjoyed fully. I hope you all hold your memories close to the heart.

Cliff played an important role of friendship and guidance to our family. Over the 27 years we have known him our lives were enriched and our conversations lively. Cliff was a good steward in the church body as well as in the land. His presence touched the world. We were blessed to have known him. He will be deeply missed and we look forward to celebrating in the future together with our Lord.

Clyde and I have known Cliff for many years , and we send our condolences to Pat and all of the family. Cliff worked long hours at the farm and was very proud of his wonderful produce, as well as his collection of variety of trees across the road. He was a man of strong faith which must have carried him through the struggles with cancer. He was always ready in spite of his work to take a few or several minutes to talk with his customers and friends, sharing both his great sense of humour as well as his Christian beliefs.
He made the world a better place in so many ways and gave guidance to others as he conversed with them. I could always count on him to get the perfect cukes for pickles, or plants that were cared for by Cliff and Pat.
Pat, you and Cliff have been such helpmates to each other over the years, and a strong support for all of your family and friends. We all will miss Cliff, but Our sympathy goes to you and your family. It is hard to not have him with you now, but he will be at peace with no pain and treatments, as he will be with God.
With love,
Susan and Clyde Baltzer

Our friendship has spanned 40 years. Cliff was a friend a teacher and a mentor to me.
We first met when he brought a box of vegetables to my neighbour, who was struggling on her welfare allowance. It was the first time I ever saw a member of the church looking after the widows and orphans. I was a young mother and very impressed with how this man walked out the teachings of the bible.
Over the years I would pop up to visit Cliff at the farm or he would stop by for a chat at the house. He always listened to what I had to say and gave sound advice.
Cliff, you are missed but I am so happy you are with the Father, walking out eternity free of pain.

My condolences to Pat and family on Clifford's passing. It was a privilege to have known Clifford over these past few years. He gave me a butternut sapling a few years back and it is flourishing by our pond. I call it the 'Clifford Tree' and it will always remind me of him. Clifford fought the good fight. He kept the faith. His faith was inspiring. He will be greatly missed.

We are sorry to hear of Clifford’s passing. Clifford and I grew up together and were in school together from Primary to Grade 12. It was good to connect again when he and Pat moved back to N.S. I am adding photos taken when we were one year old. (Nancy)

Clifford and I became friends in grade 11 and 12 and were in a drama production as ' man &wife.''.We were both very short. I left the maritimes in the early 60's but it was wonderful to reconnect in early 2001 when I returned to the valley for regular visits. Always a hug at the Annapolis Saturday market. He was a person of such faith and we connected on that level. He lived a good life and was a very special person. I'm sorry we didn't connect in the last few years. Rest in peace, Clifford..

Clifford and I became friends in school and would spend a lot of time talking between classes. We would talk about everything under the sun and this continued after school years whenever we met. At the farm market in Annapolis we would spend a lot of time talking just like we did in school. I will miss him whenever I visit Annapolis. My wife Fern also looked forward to having a chat with Clifford when she would see him at the Market. Rest in Peace Clifford.
