Obituary of Stella May Wear

Stella May (McGrath) Wear, age 89, of Colpton/Victoria Beach, passed away peacefully in Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, on Friday, November 15, 2019.  Born in Port Wade, Annapolis County, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Melvine McGrath. She loved all types of puzzles, reading, shopping, penguins and cats.  Stella’s favorite place on earth was Victoria Beach.  She is survived by her son, Graham Weir, Colpton, Lunenburg Co; daughter, Carolyn Walker, Middleton; grandchildren, Derrick Walker, Pamela Walker, Crystal Walker, Michelle Ann Walker, Michelle Andrea Weir; ten great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, Donald “Sammy” Wear (April 9, 1993).  By request family flowers only.  A graveside service will be held in the Garden of Peace Cemetery, Victoria Beach at a later date.  Donations may be made in Stella’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Fur to Feathers C/O 902-538-8618 janelloydperry@hotmail.com Online condolences may be made by visiting www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
