Joan and I were classmates for many years in Bridgetown. We were also roommates in Halifax back in the 1970’s on MacDonald Street. In recent years, we would get together for a game of cards and a chat on my trips to the valley. I will miss our get togethers.

Joan came into my life when I was twenty years old and became my beloved sister-in-law that same year. We spent many nights talking into the wee hours when Lorne and I would vacation in Bridgetown to visit family. Joan was our designated story teller and would inform us of many family history memories. I will now and forever miss Joan as will my children and grandchildren. RIP our sweet Joan
