Mitchell, Judy Ann Beverly – 67, of St. Croix Cove, Annapolis County, passed away October 12, 2016, suddenly in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Wolfville, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Florence “Bonnie” (Lake) Wile. Judy was a member of the Port Lorne Ladies Auxiliary for 35 years, where she held the position of president for 20 years. She was also member of Hampton Baptist Church and the “Shore Tones” choir. She worked at Lands and Forest and Bay of Fundy Fisheries, before she had the opportunity to go to NSCC Middleton Campus to complete her GED. Judy then enrolled in the PCW course and was very proud when she was able to gain employment at Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. She enjoyed taking care of the residents until her retirement in 2008. Judy loved her family, loved to bake and was always looking for new recipes. She enjoyed dancing and loved to laugh. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Lesley; children, Dale (Shanda MacDonald), Darla and Bonnita (Mike Drysdale); grandchildren, Murric and Asher Drysdale; Olivia MacDonald; sisters, Lexine Wile, Shirley (Charlton) Davison, Patsy (Jim) Lewis, Joan (Jake) Wood, Paulette Croft, Linda (Henk) deGraaf, Betty Mailman and Debbie (Lendell) Bartaux; brother-in-law’s, Carroll (Marsha) Mitchell and Gordon Mitchell; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, her parents; brothers, Graham “Chubby” and Owen “Sonny”; brother-in-law’s, Wayne Croft, Arthur Mailman and Keith Lewis; sister-in-law’s, Nancy Wile and Rita Wile. A funeral service will be held Sunday 2:00 pm October 16, 2016, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown, with Rev. Dr. Randy Legassie officiating. Interment at a later date.
