Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Sisson

Sisson (nee Parker), Mary Elizabeth of Annapolis Royal passed away peacefully at the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal on April 28, 2016 in her 78th year.. Born in Montreal, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Elsie Parker. Mary was a specialty teacher in the Primary grades and later enjoyed greatly her stint as a real estate agent. She engaged in many varied activities during her life from travelling the great outdoors, gardening, sports such as skating and skiing, playing cards, was an avid Blue Jays fan and gourmet cook. Mary became very skilled and recognized for her works of many varied and beautiful flower arrangements especially her pleasing creations with dried flowers. She was a wonderful mother and a kind, generous and caring person. Mary is survived and much loved by her husband, Stephen of Haliburton, ON, loving mother and grandmother to her son, Ross of Brampton, and grandson Kevin of Mississauga. Mary will be missed by her dear nieces, Claudia and Janice as well as her many friends in Quebec, Ontario and Nova Scotia. She was sadly predeceased by her daughter Kelly, sister; Clair, brothers: Keith, Bobby and Ken and special nephew, Jeff, who lived at her home in Ajax for a year. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal where a Memorial Service will be held Wednesday May 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Legassie officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will take place in Montreal and Inurnment in Hudson at a later date.
