Woodworth, Goldie Mae, 94, of Granville Center passed away Oct. 15, 2010 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, Annapolis Royal. Born in Phinney Cove she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Lydia (Sarty) Bent. Goldie was a hard working woman who had much love for her family and friends and especially for children. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing and gardening. She was a long time member and deacon of the Granville Center Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Sewing Circle and the Community Club. She is survived by son: Richard of Granville Center, grandson Michael of Clementsport and granddaughter Monica Louise of Upper Clements; great grandchildren: Michael Hume, Eric Woodworth and Maggie Woodworth, brother Murray Bent of Phinney Cove, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harland, brothers: Earl, Douglas, Gordon; sisters: Della Chute, Alberta Miller and Alma Kenny. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday from the Granville Center Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Reid officiating. Interment will be in the Wadeville Cemetery, Granville Center. The family wishes to offer a special thank you to the staff of the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home for the loving care they provided Goldie during her stay.
