Leeman, Kingsley Earl, 78, of Freeport, Digby Co. passed away August 10, 2010 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Freeport he was a son of the late Clayton and Eunice ( Thurber) Leeman. He was a member of the Tiverton Super Seniors; and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #92, Freeport. Kingsley served in the R.C.A.F as an Aero Engine Tech for 3 years and was a member of the R.C.A.F Association. He had worked for Maritime Central Airways and also on the DEW Line in Mont Joli., Que. He was a fisherman for most of his life. He is survived by his wife the former Jean Prime; step daughter: Lorraine (Harold) Graham of Westport, Virginia (George) Crawley of Lower Sackville; stepson: Dale (Deloris) Elliott of Westport, 9 grandchildren; brother: Robert ( Faye) of Tiverton; sisters: Muriel (Roland) Campbell of Black's Harbour, NB; Elda Titus of Westport. He was predeceased by a brother Glen and 2 step grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with funeral service Saturday at 2:00 p.m. all from the Tiverton United Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Small officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Tiverton. Donations in Kingsley's memory may be sent to the Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
